Work begins with Brighton University Students

As the third and final phase of the Our Screen Heritage project begins staff members from SASE met with the latest group of volunteers to be involved in the project.

These volunteers, made up of students from across the University, will work with SASE to bring the story of Our Screen Heritage to Brighton as part of a display at Brighton CCA.

Taking place during LGBTQ+ history month the display will highlight the work that took place in Folkestone and Margate, as well as the footage received as part of the open call, which is as yet to be screened. This exhibition represents an opportunity for the local community to learn more about the project as well as celebrate the footage which has been found.

More information to come as we continue on this exciting journey!
